A blind psychic who passed away three decades ago has shaken the world from beyond the grave – after yet another one of her uncanny predictions seems to have come true.
Baba Vanga, who died aged 85 in 1996, was a Bulgarian prophetess who became a cult figure after supposedly predicting major world events such as 9/11, the Covid-19 pandemic and even Princess Diana‘s death.
Now as Donald Trump threatens to set global trade ablaze with his controversial tariffs – including a whopping 145 per cent import tax on Chinese goods – the Economic Times reports that Baba Vanga was the first to foresee it.
According to the New York Post, the mysterious figure – dubbed ‘Nostradamus of the Balkans’ – predicted that 2025 would suffer a ‘worldwide economic disaster’ along with other calamities like the beginning of humanity’s downfall.
She also eerily predicted that the world will end in 5079.
Since the US president, 78, announced the mammoth tariffs on virtually every country importing goods into America, the value of stock markets, vehicle and gadget industries have run helter skelter.
A tariff is a form of tax imposed on goods or services imported from abroad. It can restrict trade by making products more expensive, and can be used as a form of protectionism – to protect and encourage domestic industry.
But since the drastic new measures were announced by the Trump administration, global markets have been sent into a meltdown – sparking fears of a global recession.
