The terrifying incident unfolded at her residence in Houston, Texas, on Sunday night (March 2), where masked intruders reportedly pulled her out of bed and demanded she hand over access to her cryptocurrency accounts.

At exactly 10:55 p.m. Central Standard Time, she tweeted: “I’m being too robbed at gunpont.”
Just a minute later, she followed up with: “I believe I shot one of them they wanted crypto is what they were yelling they pulled me out of bed.”
This may have made her a prime target for cybercriminals willing to go to extreme lengths.
By 11:29 p.m., she reassured her followers that the immediate danger had passed, tweeting: “This was a home invasion swat here now I’m safe.”
Addressing why she chose to tweet instead of calling the police, she explained: “Was at gun point they gave me phone and said log in with gun to my head and I tweeted because calling would be a death sentence.”
The following morning (March 3), the 31-year-old shared footage from her surveillance cameras, showing three armed men storming into her home before quickly retreating—one of them screaming that he had been shot.
“3 gun men. He screams ‘I got shot I got shot’ after. I’m not supposed to post the scene itself, nor the casing which are now evidence,” she wrote.

“They beat me before this video and pistol whipped me the pummeling felt like it would never end and I protected my head by putting my arms up like I Learned how to do in boxing, blood was streaming down my head and my hands were beat brown.”
“They brought duct tape and masks and were armed with handguns.”
“A trail of his blood all the way along driveway forensic testing it,” she tweeted.
Meanwhile, the Houston Police Officers’ Union issued a statement urging anyone with information about the crime to come forward: “If you have any information related to this aggravated robbery / home invasion, contact the Houston Police Robbery Division or Crime Stoppers of Houston.”
