Team Reba featured Adam Bohanan, Katie O, Edward Preble, Lauren-Michael Sellers, and Danny Joseph, each delivering standout performances. Bohanan offered a soulful rendition of Chris Stapleton’s “Think I’m in Love With You,” while Preble performed coach Michael Bublé’s arrangement of “All of Me.”

Katie O teamed up with “Yellowstone” star Lainey Wilson for a duet of her song “Hang Tight Honey.” Meanwhile, Sellers delivered a heartwarming take on Jelly Roll’s “I Am Not Okay,” and Joseph turned Marvin Gaye’s classic “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” into a high-energy rock cover.

McEntire chose Bohanan and Joseph to advance to the live shows from Team Reba. However, her decision to select them left some fans puzzled, questioning why she chose the two over other standout performers on her team.

One fan didn’t hold back, exclaiming“LAUREN WAS ROBBED 😭💔.” Another questioned the logic behind the decisions, “Reba sending Lauren Michael home truly cost her the win. Gwen could have won with Jose and she cut him as well. What is up with these coaches choosing people who still needs [sic] help rather than actual vocalists??”

Some were especially passionate about Sellers, with a comment stating, “Lauren could have won The Voice this year. Got to say there are no bad singers this year but so far the judges choices have not been great. Really disappointed ☹️ [sic].”

Another fan added“Shocking beyond belief that a Country Star would pass over one of the best young Country singers ever to take The Voice stage! Simply unbelievable! 😱.”

Others expressed frustration with Reba McEntire’s choices, “Totally disagreed with Reba’s decision tonight. Others were much better. For being a country artist you didn’t even pick one. I was all for you until tonight 😞.” One fan took it further, declaring“Bye bye Team Reba. It’s frustrating, I’m going to stop watching it and stop following the page.”

Some fans were puzzled by the decisions, such as this one, “Wow, Adam – really? That’s a shocker. What is she thinking? I didn’t think he should have moved on the last round. And based on tonight’s performances I don’t get it. Lauren or Edward would have been a better choice. Danny I agree with.”

Other comments highlighted missed opportunities, “I am shocked 😳 that Katie o didn’t move on. She was good 😊 she had a good 😊 singing voice too! I think she should move on too. Come on let’s go Katie o! [sic].”

Not everyone was critical, as some acknowledged the difficulty of the decisions, “I feel for Reba here. Amazing talent. Hard to choose. I can’t say she chose average candidates and I also can’t say she left bad candidates out. Very very tough choice with so much talent in the house.”

Another fan added, “There wasn’t a wrong decision, all 5 incredible in their own ways,” while one cheered for the team, “Such a hard choice! Go Team Reba!!”

McEntire worked with Wilson to help her choose her team. NBC’s “The Voice announced Wilson as a Playoff Advisor for McEntire on their official Instagram page. They posted Wilson’s picture with a caption that read, “Just country icons helping country icons. 🤠🤠 Lainey Wilson is a Playoff Advisor for Team Reba TN 8/7c on @nbc and streaming on @peacock. #TheVoice.”

McEntire also took to social media to share her excitement, posting a picture of herself with Lainey and writing, “We have a superstar advising #TeamReba this week!”

Both artists expressed their enthusiasm about collaborating, bringing their shared passion for country music to the show as they mentored Team Reba through the high-stakes playoff round.

Bohanan went on social media to thank McEntire and share his excitement after securing his spot in the live shows. He wrote, “I loved this look, the band and the staging. This was an incredible experience!! I loved performing with the band and really getting to dig into the music! For those who were complaining about my eyes 👀 there they are 🤣. I love @reba and all my teammates!”

Despite being eliminated, Katie O reflected on her journey on “The Voice” with gratitude and optimism. She penned, “My journey on The Voice has come to an end but I am on to the next chapter!!!” She credited her faith, sharing how she prayed for guidance before the show and felt blessed by the opportunities that followed.

Katie O thanked McEntire for her belief and coaching, as well as guest advisor Wilson, whose advice she said would remain invaluable throughout her career. She cherished the chance to perform Wilson’s “Hang Tight Honey” on the show, calling it a special moment. She also acknowledged the other coaches, Gwen Stefani, Snoop Dogg, and Bublé, for their support and insights.

Katie O extended heartfelt thanks to her family, fans, and the entire “The Voice” team, from wardrobe and glam squads to producers and band members, emphasizing their contributions to her experience.

She closed with congratulations to her teammates Joseph and Bohanan on making it to the live shows. Katie O wished them success while looking forward to her own future adventures.
