A beauty influencer died on a yacht in Malta after what was thought to be a heart attack.
The 36-year-old Farah El Kadhi was taken to the hospital in the harbor town of Msida after being found unconscious on the boat.
When she died, the social media star from Tunisia was on her yacht in the marina, posting pictures of herself on it.
Local news outlets say she didn’t seem hurt and was in the country for a week’s vacation before she died on Monday.
Soulayma Hneynia, another influential person who lives in Malta, called the police when she couldn’t reach her.
She said that Farah was a “truly wonderful person” who was known for being warm, kind, and generous.
She said: “Her positive spirit touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.”
Along with an investigation to find out the exact cause of her death, an autopsy will be done.
Farah was one of Tunisia’s most well-known figures and used to work as an architect for Key Concept.
The more than a million people who follow her on Instagram saw her promote her fashion brand Bazarbyfaf.
An architect and interior designer named Taher Toumi wrote a tribute to her on Instagram.
“I know you only through Instagram, but the pain has been deep since you left,” he wrote.
“You were full of life and joy!” Living your life the right way meant showing love to everyone, even those who don’t know you!
“For two days we have been looking at your photos, your videos and we are immersed in deep pain!”
A fan told her that “nothing will be the same” without her.
Something else remembered meeting the Instagram star and talked about it.
They noted: “I met her once on the plane, she was very friendly, especially I jokingly remarked to her that she was small, yet in her videos she seemed tall.”
The Instagram star’s most recent post came from Spilia in Mykonos and showed her on a Greek beach in a bright pink kimono.
